John Hamilton

John is a strategic leader in the camp and out-of-school time (OST) space, currently serving as Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer for the Alliance for Camp Health. He has a deep understanding of hope and healing-centered practices and the mental, emotional, environmental, social, and spiritual health (MESH+) framework. Rooted in evidence-based approaches and national program expansion, John drives systems change that improves organizational well-being, helps individuals thrive, and allows communities to flourish. Previously, John served as National Director for Camp HOPE America and executive director of a camp near Lake Tahoe. He holds an MA in Leadership and Cultural Justice and is founder of the Outdoor Wellbeing Lab.
